Windpark Dunowo

Poland

International milestone for green hydrogen

With the Dunowo project, ENERTRAG operates one of the largest wind projects in Poland. Around 600,000 MWh of clean energy is generated annually near the city of Köslin (pl. Koszalin) in the northwest of the country. This corresponds to the electricity needs of almost a quarter of a million households. Dunowo consists of the two wind fields Dargikowo and Karlino. The Dargikowo wind field includes 43 wind turbines with an output of 133 MW, while in the Karlino wind field 16 turbines with an output of 53 MW generate electricity.

Technologies of the project

Wind power

Wind turbines utilize the power of the wind to drive rotor blades and, via these, a generator. In this way, electrical energy is generated.
