ENERTRAG secures medium-term investment loan to finance growth

ENERTRAG, one of the leading players in the renewable energy sector, has successfully concluded new financing totalling 120 million euros. The loan agreement signed with Commerzbank supports ENERTRAG's growth. The financing has a term of at least five years and also offers flexible extension and increase options to meet future growth needs.

With this medium-term investment loan, ENERTRAG is securing the opportunity to further expand its own energy plants and project development. As a leading provider of integrated power plants, ENERTRAG pursues a holistic approach that encompasses the development, construction and operation of wind, PV and electrolysis plants as well as the corresponding grid infrastructure.

The company benefits from a stable foundation of its own energy plants totalling over 900 MW and a full project portfolio. In the last six months alone, licences for almost 200 MW of new wind turbines have been obtained in Germany and are now being implemented. Overall, the development portfolio has grown to over 18 GW in the last three years - almost tripling since 2021. This includes 12 GW of wind projects and 3 GW each of photovoltaic and green hydrogen projects.

The financing from Commerzbank provides the company with solid financial backing to continue its growth in the interests of a successful future.
