How Data Services works
Live data transmission
The data flow hub inside ENERTRAG Powersystem receives operating data from all connected energy systems in real time. This live transmission of data works for all manufacturers via standardized data interfaces and covers wind turbines, PV systems, battery storage systems, substations and PtX systems.
Control centre for data flows that closes data gaps
The control centre operates continuously, monitoring each data flow as it comes in. As soon as a system stops sending data or gaps emerge, ENERTRAG Powersystem detects this automatically and triggers a process to close the data gaps. Automatic notifications tell the relevant personnel immediately about any data flows that are missing or have been interrupted.
Plausibility checks
Incoming data is subjected to automated plausibility checks. ENERTRAG Powersystem compares measurements against expected ranges and detects any discrepancies, which could be due to sensor errors, configuration problems or system faults.
Dashboard and PY index
The dashboard displays the current status of all data flows at a glance: which systems are transmitting? Where is data missing? Which plausibility checks have detected discrepancies? The PY index – a directory within ENERTRAG Powersystem – saves the data from all systems connected to date and enables benchmarks to be produced across all customers.

API data interfaces with third-party systems
